Mission: Socks
is a community sock drive started by local 15 year old, Carver O'Neal, to help spread the Light of Christ by raising socks for the homeless.
Mission: Socks started out as a small sock drive organized by Carver O'Neal, 15, of Greenwood, MS. "In November of 2017, we held the first sock drive. It started out as a collection in my Bible study for Boy Scouts, but I felt God telling me that it should be much more. God moved and kept moving, and then my school helped out and two other churches even helped us out without us asking them to! When it was all over and the collection ended, we had a night of prayer with my Bible study group. We passed around donations and prayed for each and every one of them. A couple of days after that, my family and I counted the socks, and we had a total of 665 pairs of socks donated! I was incredibly humbled and blessed when I saw how God moved and saw how he used me to do it."
